This is a government agency issuing residence permits for those arriving in Finland. Depending on where you come from and what is your reason for entering Finland you must register. If coming from EU/EEA country be sure you register in an EU citizen’s right of residence register. Also, this agency is processing applications for Finnish citizenship.
It is possible to fill the applications in online services. You can enter online service either with your bank credentials or register by creating an account.
Be sure to familiarize yourself with all the necessary steps and obtain all the requested documents prior to applying. After that, you will receive an invitation to visit the agency in person bringing all the original documents with you so the final decision can be made.

Šī valdības aģentūra izsniedz uzturēšanās atļaujas tiem, kas ierodas Somijā. Reģistrācijas procedūra atkarīga no personas ieceļošanas valsts un ieceļošanas iemesliem. Ja ierodies no ES/EEZ valsts, neaizmirsti reģistrēties ES pilsoņu uzturēšanās reģistrā. Šī aģentūra ir atbildiga arī par Somijas pilsonības pieteikumu apstrādi.
Visus pieteikumus var iesniegt lietojot aģentūras online pakalpojumus, var pieteikties vai nu ar internetbankas starpniecību vai reģistrēties izveidojot savu profilu.
Noteikti iepazīsties ar mājaslapā sniegto informāciju un sagatavo pieprasītos dokumentus pirms pieteikuma iesniegšanas. Ņem vērā, ka būs nepieciešams ierasties arī kādā no aģentūras servisa punktiem, līdzi ņemot visu dokumentu oriģinālus. Tiks veikta to salīdzināšana, lai varētu pieņemt gala lēmumu.
